About Us

TMK Commercials was founded by my father Thomas Kirkman in 1991, back then he ran his setup out of a small wooden barn on a farm just outside of Helston. He moved to a number of premises before settling in our current fit for purpose workshop on United downs industrial estate near St Day. 

Fast forward to 2017 and with Dad nearing retirement he passed the day to day running of the company to his son Tim Kirkman (Me!). Since 2017 i have invested in the latest diagnostic equipment to provide our customers with the latest level of diagnostic repair and fault finding.

We carry out all types of work on Commercial vehicles (3.5t plus) ranging from general servicing, Fit outs of new vehicles, Gearbox overhauls and much much more.
